Pastor David Ibiyeomie has shared a detailed account of an experience from 1997 when he gave out his entire salary as a sacrifice.

According to him, his wife had told him she needed money to go to the market, and his salary at the time was ₦5,000. He said while he was about to respond to her, he felt led to give the money as a sacrifice.

He explained that despite the situation, he went ahead and dropped the ₦5,000.

Less than an hour later, he said a woman came to him with ₦25,000, along with a bag of rice, beans, eggs, and other food items. He added that she said she was instructed to bring the items to him.

He also shared that the same woman later said her husband, who had never given her a large amount of money before, gave her ₦1 million that same day. According to him, the man also secured a job in Abuja afterwards.

The pastor used the experience to emphasise the role of faith and obedience, stating that acting in faith can lead to a chain of events.
