The Ogun State Police Command has issued a warrant for the arrest of popular singer Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, also known as "Portable", for his alleged involvement in a violent attack on government officials.¹
According to the police, the incident occurred on February 5, 2025, when officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development were conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota. Portable's father was encountered at Odogwu Bar, and after identifying themselves, the officials requested the approved building plan. However, Portable allegedly arrived with a firearm and other dangerous weapons, leading a gang of nine thugs in a violent attack on the unarmed officials.
The police reported that nine accomplices were arrested, but Portable fled the scene and has since gone into hiding. Despite multiple formal invitations, Portable ignored the requests to appear at the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters, leading to the issuance of a valid court order declaring him wanted.
The police are urging members of the public to assist in locating Portable and are warning that anyone found aiding or harboring the suspect will face legal consequences.
